Finally...a vacation! We flew to Destin, Florida for a week and shared an awesome penthouse condo with our very best friends. We are all exhausted but it was an amazing time.
We arrived on Saturday evening after dinner so there wasn't much to do but settle into the condo. We had to walk down to the water though...so we could feel the sand in our toes!

I was woken up early by Evelyn. I bribed her with the iPad so I could sit on the balcony in peace all by myself. I have my book, my coffee, the ocean waves...bliss. Right? I took this picture and settled in for a quiet morning. Surely the other children will sleep in after a long day of traveling the day before.... I read a whole two sentences before I heard a tap, tap, tapping on the glass door behind me. More kids awake and let the "when are we going to the beach!!!" questions to commence!
Waiting for our friends to arrive. They flew in at 9am and they're on their way...we promise kids! We will get down to the water soon!

The boys bedroom. King size bed is big enough to share but Joseph isn't used to it so we put up a barrier to let his buddy sleep. It didn't take long for everyone to pass out.
