The lake is open (and still pretty cold from the snow run off)...and these kids can't get enough of it. We are so lucky to have this private space just a mile from the house.
I bought myself a little float and taking it on it's maiden voyage. I just want to float, relax, and read my book. I brought a paddle just in case I float too far! In the end, I ended up taking a rope and tying off to a floating dock several yards off shore so I could float without worrying where I end up...
Now the kids are along for the ride

Completely wiped out...Lorelai is half buried in the sand, wolfing down her lunch so she can play some more. She is definitely my biggest water bug!
