Stay-cation day 3...SILVERTON!

 We explored Silverton again and spent most of the day there.  We took two vehicles up a new trail called "Stony Pass" and made it up to 12,650ft in elevation!  We saw snow in August and the kids made snowballs.  Such a fun, dirty day!!

Stay-cation day 2 (part 2)...S'MORES!

 After a day of rafting, we enjoyed a fire, s'mores, and a ghost story or two!  The kids stayed up late and enjoyed the summer night!

The dads and the two boys started the fire.

She made it until 10pm.  Lorelai and her friend stayed up until 11! The joys of summer

Stay-cation day 2 (part 1)...RAFTING

White water rafting!  Joseph was the only one too little to go so he hung back with me at the park as we waited for them to float on by.  I just love to see the kids' faces in all the pictures.

Joseph and I had our own fun time.  I bought him a new truck, we got a happy meal, ate in the park, then played by the river while we waited for their raft to come floating along.
