It was a hectic holiday with an absolutely full house! But one of the best Christmases yet!
Lorelai asked Santa for a bike for Christmas. The night before she said, "I'm going to look for a present that's big and looks like a bike and open that first because I know Santa will bring me a bike." So naturally we had to mess with her a bit. We put her bike in the garage and wrapped up a note from Santa instead. She was excited Christmas morning because she saw the big bag that wrapped Scarlet's trampoline and thought it was her bike. When she saw Scarlet's name on the tag and saw that it wasn't a bike, you could see the panic in her eyes. But all turned out well in the end and was captured on video.... By the way, it was all Auntie's idea!
Lorelai is a bit of a perfectionist and has trouble dealing with things when they don't go as planned or she makes a mistake. Santa gifted Lorelai the game Perfection which I thought might help her deal with her anxiety. Uhhhh, not so much! After the pieces exploded the second time without her completely finishing the puzzle she was DONE with it. Easy going Evelyn loves it though!
