learning to jump...
Joseph loves his jumparoo and his toes can now just touch the ground so he's learning to jump. It almost seems like his bouncing surprises him and it's hilarious to watch. He's still a tad unsteady but he's figuring it out...

More snow days...
School's still out and these kids can't be cooped up in the house all day. This Momma is going a little nuts. Outside into the snow they go!! The girls are trying to sled down the tiny slope next to our house. It's not much of a hill but it'll do for now. With a baby in my arms it's a bit challenging but we'll manage...

Snow days!
It was the first "big" snow fall of the year. It doesn't snow much in Kentucky, so when it does, everything tends to shut down. You'll notice in the pictures below you can JUST see the tips of the grass under the snow. The kids were out of school for a week!! It was crazy. I'm so happy they're back in school but they did enjoy the snow! When they woke up, you would have thought it was Christmas morning again when they caught sight of the snow. They squealed with delight and were out the door just after breakfast...

Best picture of the day! This is a rare moment to capture. All kids looking at the camera with smiles on their faces. This never happens! |
Warming up with hot cocoa after playtime in the snow. Who are we kidding? Evelyn ate the marshmallows and then she was done... |
Lorelai drank every drop! |

Well, that happened quick...
Joseph is 4 months old already! I want to cherish these sweet baby moments as long as I can but sometimes the days just fly by when you're also chasing after three other kiddos at home... I'm not ready for this!
I love his smile. He is becoming such a happy baby. He lights up when any one of us enter the room |

Snuggling with little brother...
Scarlet got a new blanket from Aunt Lorraine. The reason for this is because Joseph was originally gifted a very soft blue and white blanket.... which she stole and kept for herself. Whenever anyone touched this blanket she would throw a fit. She had to sleep with it every night. Aunt Lorraine had the same person make one for Scarlet and she loves it. Maybe she'll give brother his blanket back? She's being real sweet and trying to snuggle with her little brother...

Our Christmas 2017
It was a hectic holiday with an absolutely full house! But one of the best Christmases yet!
Lorelai asked Santa for a bike for Christmas. The night before she said, "I'm going to look for a present that's big and looks like a bike and open that first because I know Santa will bring me a bike." So naturally we had to mess with her a bit. We put her bike in the garage and wrapped up a note from Santa instead. She was excited Christmas morning because she saw the big bag that wrapped Scarlet's trampoline and thought it was her bike. When she saw Scarlet's name on the tag and saw that it wasn't a bike, you could see the panic in her eyes. But all turned out well in the end and was captured on video.... By the way, it was all Auntie's idea!
Lorelai is a bit of a perfectionist and has trouble dealing with things when they don't go as planned or she makes a mistake. Santa gifted Lorelai the game Perfection which I thought might help her deal with her anxiety. Uhhhh, not so much! After the pieces exploded the second time without her completely finishing the puzzle she was DONE with it. Easy going Evelyn loves it though!
Sleeping before the mayhem ensues |
Joseph's very first Christmas |
Scarlet definitely has the hang of unwrapping presents now |
Lorelai showed this much excitement for just about everything she opened |
Evelyn was very excited about her new Paw Patrol tower |
Still sleeping... |
