It has been a rainy and stormy 4th of July for us. All the local fireworks were cancelled due to thunder... Well, this is Kentucky! ...so we created our own fun!! We actually had a better time than I could have imagined at a crowded lake enjoying the town firework display. I gave Joe the go ahead to buy some fireworks to set off in the yard. The girls were amazed! We had such a great time!!

| Scarlet is just about ready for bed...fireworks won't start until after her bedtime. Normally, I'd let her stay awake to enjoy the fireworks but it stays light outside way too late. We aren't setting off fireworks until about 10pm! No way will she last that long... |
