We are back from our trip and we had a wonderful vacation. The next several posts are going to involve pictures from Disney and our stay at Grandma's house....
Unfortunately we did not start our vacation off great... Lorelai got sick with a virus the day before we left. PERFECT TIMING! She had a fever and ended up breaking out in sores all over her mouth, poor thing. We medicated her around the clock and controlled her temperature. By Sunday (our first day at Disney) she no longer had a fever but the sores remained which made her mouth swollen. She didn't like talking or eating or smiling. It affected the pictures a little bit, but she was a trooper and still had fun. Halfway through our trip, she healed and was all better so everything improved.
I can't believe our trip is finally here!! So excited
Here is the view from our hotel room at the Contemporary Resort. Beautiful bay lake view. The stay in the hotel actually went very smoothly considering we were all sharing one room.

Whenever we asked Lorelai to smile, she would refuse to do it. Her poor mouth still hurt. But when she met the characters...she couldn't help but smile!
The first afternoon we were there, it poured.....and poured and poured and poured. We all got soaked to the bone. Thankfully the girls had raincoats, but we cut the day a little short when the stroller started collecting puddles of rain. We went back to the hotel, everyone got hot baths and we settled in for an early night so we could have an early start the next day. The girls were still in good spirits though....
