Our days have been filled unpacking the endless boxes. The kids are cooped up and we need a break. The kids woke up on Mother's Day, refused to let me get out of bed and made me breakfast from scratch (with a little help from Daddy). After that we took our first hike to explore our new neighborhood. This is a waterfall hike in our community, just minutes from the house. We had a great day outdoors!

Joseph walked the entire way to the waterfalls but he was slowing down on the way back. He put up a fight at first when we made him get in Daddy's backpack, but after a while I think he enjoyed it.
Because of our move I’ve been so behind in my posts. I'm trying to play catch up. On April 25, 2020 we loaded up our cars and headed across the country to our new home in Durango, Colorado.
Lorelai, Scarlet, Joseph and the two dogs rode with me. Evelyn rode with the two cats in Joe's truck. Lorelai was a big help on the road, helping the little ones with their iPads, etc. This was a difficult road trip because so much was closed due to the coronavirus. It took us 2.5 days of driving.
The last leg of our trip and we are almost there. We had to stop as we drove through the snowy mountains!

This is where Addie will live out her golden years. She is 10.5yrs old now which is pretty ancient for a Great Dane. She is loving all the smells and exploring off leash. I think it's a great place for her to settle down.
We are moving SO soon. Joe is trying to use up the last of his propane with our fire pit and that means lots of marshmallow roasts! This post is of one of our last days in Clarksville, TN!
The sun is out! It's a miracle. This has been the dreariest, wettest winter and spring and the kids need to get out... We will take advantage of every sunny day.
We had a wonderful Easter holiday. However, we celebrated the day before because the weather forecast called for rain all day long. With these kids being in quarantine, they never knew the difference. Beautiful sunny day, perfect for an egg hunt!
