Evelyn and Scarlet had a Christmas pageant for school on December 10th. Yes, I am a little behind on my posts. It was such a hectic month. Scarlet's show was first, and then Evelyn's. Scarlet knew every word, every hand movement before the show. I know because she's been singing them for weeks! At the show, stage fright set in and she pretty much froze but I'm still proud she stood up there in front of all those people. Evelyn was a ham.
What a year it's been! And December was a crazy, hectic month but full of good memories. Here are some leftover pictures of December...
All babies, all the time...
This girl is baby obsessed...
She made me straighten her hair to look like a "big girl"
My little boy...
He's got his spoons...ready to help in the kitchen
Scarlet with her new baby carrier
On the other hand...this is how Evelyn takes care of babies. It's a good think Scarlet is napping. She'd have a fit seeing all her babies tumbling down the slide. Oh my...
Probably one of her hardest lego sets yet! Very intricate and made for kids ages 8-12. She did not ask for any help at all! Great job!
Little dress up girl...
He's so handsome. And I think he has Daddy's eyebrow...
Ok, I need my head examined... Thanksgiving, followed by a week at Disney World and then trying to fit in TWO birthday parties before Christmas?!! This Mom is TIRED. But I did it. We celebrated Scarlet's birthday party late on December 8th, and Lorelai's was the following Saturday, December 15th.
For Scarlet we rented out the indoor playground at the Church. It's an amazing playground with giant slides, tons of stuff to climb on and a separate party room to have pizza and cake. More kids came than I expected so I was glad I didn't have the party at my house. About 20 kids were there and their parents too!!!
The singing started...all eyes on Scarlet...and she FROZE! She wouldn't blow out the candles until Daddy helped her. She is just so shy!
With Daddy's help, the smile came out
Lorelai's party was held at the new movie theater in town. They have wonderful recliners to sit in and a party room to enjoy cake afterwards. We saw Wreck-it Ralph 2. Not many pictures were taken because we were at the theater but I did get one of her blowing out the candles. Popcorn, candy, and CAKE. These kids are sugared out!
