Scarlet finally had her first haircut on June 12th. She was very nervous which is not uncommon for her. She wouldn't speak to anyone and the only way I could keep her in the chair was to give her a lollipop.
She still won't even look at me...
Ok, the trauma seems to have worn off. Back home and she's smiling again
For Evelyn's 6th Birthday we rented a bounce house with a slide and invited all the neighborhood kids. We did a joint, Superhero birthday with a neighborhood boy who was turning 4. It definitely made planning much easier and it was helpful with us being new in town. We were able to get tons kids to the party and we met so many new people too. It was such a hot day but a success nonetheless! The water balloons at the end helped!
The party was on a Tuesday evening after work. Party was 5pm-8pm. The bounce house was dropped off at 10:30am so the kids got to play with it the ENTIRE day!
Someone snuck into Mommy and Daddy's bed at some point in the night. Sneaky little thing!

MAJOR shoutout to Auntie who flew into town to help us settle into our new house. Don't let the expression fool you...she is having the greatest time organizing the kids' new bedroom/playroom! FUN TIMES!
I woke up to this!! Scarlet and Joseph now sharing a bedroom and when one gets up, the other one is up as well! Scarlet climbed right into Joseph's bed.
Major wipe out on her bike. Her helmet was still packed. Lesson learned to always wear her helmet!
All banged up!

"where's my room service?"
This sassy pants has become very opinionated about what she wears everyday. She picks out whether today she will wear a dress or shorts and a top...sneakers or sandals...hair up or down. Today she has decided on her "twirl dress" (it flares up when she spins around), a pink bow headband with her hair down, and pink sandals. Then she instructs Mom to take a picture so her Daddy can see how she looks. …….and I'm exhausted....
Joseph has pulled a chair up to the counter so he can climb on top to finish off his sister's cereal. Always the resourceful one.
Lorelai is working on a new project. A diamond painting! I'll post pictures of the finished product when she's done.
It's much too quiet...where are those little ones? Found them reading books in their room! And cue my heart exploding. I love them moments when they're just so sweet like this.
jumping fiend!
All dressed up and has to wave her Daddy off to work every single morning...
Shortly after Scarlet and Joseph started sharing a room, he learned how to climb out of his crib. I think she may have taught him a thing or two. So now we have him into a toddler bed and it's going well! THANK GOD!
We've been having so many thunderstorms and with that comes some beautiful rainbows!
