Dance party!

All three of our girls love a good dance party.  Scarlet got a new musical, dancing toy for Christmas but her older sisters are enjoying it just as much.  The toy plays games, sometimes it tells you to "freeze!" then to "jump and dance" etc.  See if you can tell which one of the girls is the biggest "ham".

Discover the Dinosaurs...

We went to this event last year and decided to take the girls back again.  We didn't have much choice after Lorelai saw a commercial for it on television.  However, a different company was sponsoring it and it wasn't as impressive as I had remembered.  The girls still had fun but I think this is our last time going (plus it was expensive!).

The girls each picked out a baby dino at the gift shop.  Lorelai picked a triceratops...Evelyn a T-Rex.  She calls it her "Baby T-Rex" and cares for it like a real baby.  Very maternal this one...

First snow of the year!

Kentucky doesn't get much snow so we have to take advantage of every flake we get!  It's the first snow of the year.  School closed for two days!  Being a New England girl, it's a little ridiculous but the girls are much preferring the snow to all the rain we've been having.  I've bundled them up and kicked them out of the house to play!

No, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you.  You can still see the grass through the snow...and schools are closed for two days!  Not a very happy Momma but the kids love it.  I wish it was more!

Scarlet's favorite thing to do in the snow is to watch the dog run around.  Addie actually loves the snow and she turns from an old lady, back into a puppy again. 

Improving her walking skills

Scarlet took her first steps December 7th.  Since then she is improving little bits every day.  She prefers to crawl because she's always trying to keep up with her big sisters and she is so much faster crawling.  Evelyn got a new baby doll, carrier, stroller etc for Christmas and the stroller is Scarlet's new favorite walking toy.  She loves to do laps all around the house!

I love watching Scarlet learn something new.  She is so proud of herself and her face just beams with joy!

Evelyn was hilarious opening her gifts.  Every single gift she'd look at everyone saying, "whaaaaaaat is it????"

Sorry for the delay in posting... I'm still winding down from the hectic holiday season and our lives are getting back to our old routine.  Enjoy these leftover pictures from December...

In case you were wondering how our visit to Santa went this year...  Our mall lets you make reservations to see Santa, so I thought, "What a great idea...we won't have to wait!"  Well, Santa was late.  He blamed it on the reindeer or something.  After a long wait, Scarlet was just not having it.  And it turns out, she had an ear infection brewing too that we had yet to discover.  We will look back at these pictures and laugh someday...I know it...
