More Zoo days....part 1

We are leaving San Antonio in just a few weeks!  We are enjoying our last few visits to our beloved Zoo.  Definitely going to miss this place...it just never gets old...

Another announcement!!!

The Dai family is expecting a baby...........GIRL!!!!  We are so very excited for this.  I think after two little girls a lot of people were betting on a little boy but that is not the case.  There is no doubt that this little one is all girl.  Poor Joe is really outnumbered but he uses it as an excuse to buy a "bigger shotgun".  I love having baby girls....but I don't think I'll be looking forward to those teenage years!  :)  Our biggest problem with girls is figuring out a name so don't even ask.  Most of you know we probably won't have an official name til the baby is born.  Figures...as we've had our baby boy named picked out for years.  Everything looks healthy and perfect too!!!  We are truly blessed.

SNAKES!

The girls got new stuffed animals....6ft long snakes!  They love them!  (Thank you Papa Joe). 

Lorelai took it upon herself to name the snakes.  The green one is "Stripe" and the blue one is "Plum".  I don't know where she comes up with this stuff.

A chef in the making...

I love this picture.  Papa Joe was making dinner and Lorelai had to help.  She would ask over and over, pulling on his pant leg, saying, "Papa Joe, can I help you cook?".  Too cute...

Aquatica is open and the girls are excited for some fun in the water...

Swimming is great to tire out these girls.  The girls were changed out of their suits and this picture was taken before we were even out of the pool area.  Lorelai didn't last much longer.

She's going to bed and must have read my mind because I have the full intention of polishing off those chocolate covered strawberries as soon as the girls are asleep.  I don't want to share.  Lorelai says, "Mommy, you can only have ONE!"

Pushing boundaries.  She's not in bed but she didn't leave her room.  Totally fell asleep in her doorway at bedtime.  Now to move her without waking her up!

Lorelai is practicing her letters.  Evelyn is playing under the table (one of her favorite places to play) and bugging Lorelai by tickling her feet.  Addie is standing guard...
