Lorelai learned very quickly to be careful of the hot pans.  She likes to stir and add ingredients.  She is getting pretty good!

Tolerant dog...

Our dog, Addie, is incredibly tolerant....She's getting older now so hopefully the girls will go a little easier on her.  I think she loves the attention though.

Preparing for Christmas!

The stockings are hung and the tree is trimmed!  I love this time of year!  Lorelai really enjoyed decorating the tree.  She kept asking, days afterwards, if we could keep decorating it.  I had to continue to explain that we were all done.  I hope she is this excited about taking all the ornaments off and put away!

I first thought that I'd move Lorelai's ornaments around after she went to bed...but every time I look at how she placed them, it makes me smile so here they stay.  Several ornaments are touching or sharing a branch.  Too funny but it definitely has Lorelai's stamp on it.

She is very thoughtful when she places an ornament.  She says, "This one has to go HERE!"

It's so hard not to touch them!  But she's learning...only two broke while decorating...

Thanksgiving "help"

Sorry this post is so delayed.  We had a quiet Thanksgiving at home, just the four of us.  I made pie the day before....worked all night...and cooked dinner the next day!  But don't worry... Look at all the help I had!!!

I told Lorelai to "smile!" but she wouldn't take her eyes fully off the turkey.  She's taking this job seriously

Evelyn was cooking in the kitchen too.  I don't know if I should be concerned over her diet choices.

Ok, this is officially the silliest ensemble.  Tinkerbell nightgown, purple heels, pink purse, tiara, light up sunglasses, and a stuffed animal sea horse. 

Lorelai is taking a lesson from her dad and learning to use her doctor tools.
