The last warm days...

Here are some pictures of us enjoying the last of the warm Texas days.  Chillier days are coming fast.  Time to put away the shorts and flip flops!

Lorelai was sooooo good today.  We treated her with some ice cream

Not the cutest face.  She's being silly

Soaking in the sun

These girls are just too cool.  They are cruising around the neighborhood

Gators! (OOPS!)

OOPS!  I complete forgot to publish this post.  It was sitting in my blog listed as "Draft" because I never officially published it.  I still thought it was a neat post so I still wanted you all to see it.  Better late than never.  These pictures were taken during our last day's stay with Grandma and Grandpa in Florida.  Lorelai loves animals (obviously) but she really loves any kind of animals with teeth and claws.  She loves alligators...and we were in Florida so it seemed like a good fit.

Lorelai was not scared at all to hold this little gator.

Evelyn wanted in on the action too.

Lorelai is way too excited about getting to hold this large snake

My little tomboy

This baby snake was only a few weeks old

No she's not fishing.  She's feeding hotdogs to gators!!

The gators would fight over the hotdogs and pull the meat off the fishing line.

Jack-o-lanterns

We love carving pumpkins every year.  This year, our pumpkins were inspired by our wonderful Disney vacation we took in September.  The girls were able to "help" scoop out the guts!

My Minnie Mouse pumpkin.  Lorelai picked this one out.  It was not easy but came out great!

I love this Tinkerbell pumpkin.

I made the fairy dust swirl all around the pumpkin...

Daddy did the Cinderella castle pumpkin!

Trick-or-Treat!

Here is my trick-or-treat post from Halloween night.  Lorelai had a blast....and now, a week later, she is still asking me when we can go trick-or-treating again.  She quickly learned that if a house had their front light on, they were giving out candy to cute little girls who rang their doorbell...  She was on a mission to hit every house she saw with a light on!!  Mommy was exhausted by the end of the night.

I love the girl's costumes.  Cowboy and Indian theme!  Prepare yourself for the cuteness ahead...

This cowgirl loves her costume and is smiling proud!

In this picture she is saying, "YeeHaw!"

My little Indian squaw...

too cute

Cowgirls and Indians...getting along!

Not shy at all...walking right up the the door and she said "trick-or-treat" and "thank-you" at every house we went to.

There is too much candy in this house right now.  And yes, that's a toothbrush that we got from the Pediatric Dentist that lives across the street

Preparing for Halloween...

Here are some pictures to get you all in the Halloween spirit!

Evelyn is excited about her new pumpkin for trick-or-treating

Lorelai got new Halloween pajamas.  She likes to try to scare me when she wears them.  She says she's being "SPOOOOOKY" as she waves her hands at me.

And then she laughs at herself because she thinks she's a riot...

On our family walks Lorelai has been so excited about seeing all the Halloween decorations around the neighborhood.  She calls this one the "Spooky Scary Pumpkin Scarecrow" and we have to visit him each and every day.  She gets too nervous to go see him by herself so she likes to go with Daddy.

Enjoying a Halloween donut while we grocery shop

Lorelai is so proud of her Ghost.  She made it at the gym's childwatch while I was working out.  She has played with it so much we've had to repair it a few times.  She likes to fly it around.
