Birthday parties are fun!

This past weekend, Lorelai's best friend, Madelaine, turned ONE!  We drove down to Corpus Christi to celebrate with her.  There were lots of other babies, balloons, toys, and best of all... cake!  Here are some pictures of Lorelai playing at the party.  There's also a video at the bottom (it has an amusing ending)...

Madelaine's present from her mom and dad was this Little Tykes play gym.  Lorelai had a lot of fun with it.

She loved the slide!

"I see you, Mommy!"

"Look how high I am!"

Peek-a-boo!

yay! I did it!

Lorelai really enjoyed playing outside in the grass.  She found a soccer ball and Daddy was teaching Lorelai how to kick it.  Watch the video til the end because Joe just might win "parent of the year" for this one...

Chatting away!

Sometimes she is talking nonstop these days.  It's not always easy to comprehend...but a movement in the right direction...

Boxes are more fun than toys...

Maybe we should just give Lorelai boxes to play with...she seems to have more fun with them!  She was playing with this diaper box for about 30 minutes while Mommy cleaned.  Whatever keeps her occupied!

Helping Mommy...

Lorelai likes to help Mommy, no matter what the task.

When we walk the dog, Lorelai wants to hold the leash

The O'Reilly Factor

We often watch the O'Reilly Factor at night and just get angry at the direction the world is heading (does this mean we're getting old?).  Lorelai was having a little juice before bed but it was still a while before her actual bath time, story time, and bed time.  All of a sudden, Joe and I noticed how quiet it was and we looked down and she had totally passed out!  It was hilarious.  She had a very busy day today and I guess she was just saying she needed to go to bed a little early.  Or maybe Bill O'Reilly wasn't very stimulating today...

It's a.....IT'S A.......

GIRL!!!  Ok, I know most of you already know this, but we are having another daughter!  I am very excited about this.  I am so glad that the two girls will be nice and close in age (just like me and my sister).  Boys can come later.  Joe says we can keep having girls as long as he is allowed to keep building up his gun supply.  As soon as we have a name, we will let everyone know.  History shows that girls names are difficult for us but this time we plan on having a name before she is born.

She's going to be a big sister!

Randoms....

Tons of random pics of our little Lorelai...

She really gets into the weirdest places

Maybe she needs a jungle gym?

Mesmerized by Sesame Street (notice the eyes that are glazed over).  Honestly, she doesn't watch much tv but Sesame Street can definitely be a life saver when Mommy needs a break or needs to cook dinner or get something done, etc

Bananas are one of Lorelai's favorite foods.  But, uh, I don't think that's right Lorelai...

Lorelai likes to mimic and copy.  She sees Daddy's weights

Trying hard to pump some iron like her Daddy.  Maybe she needs those little 2lb weights

She climbs all over the dog.  Poor Addie is so tolerant of "her" baby

I really do think they're going to grow up great friends

Lorelai is trying to sniff my Valentine's flowers.  However, she keeps opening her mouth to taste them!

Doesn't taste good, does it Lorelai?

Wouldn't nap on this day and fell asleep on the livingroom floor, cuddling with her Daddy
