Baptism

Lorelai's baptism was a small affair and we were glad that Joe was able to attend.  Here are a few pictures of Lorelai in her dress.

Fun at Babci's

Lorelai is a happy baby and was having fun hanging out at Babci and Pop-Pop's house.  She loves Babci's wind chimes!

As Lorelai gets older she is getting more and more curious.  She loved the wind chimes on the deck.

SWINGS!!

Grandma and I took Lorelai to the park today to try out the swings.  She was a little cranky on the ride there so I didn't know how it would go.  The second I sat her in the swing she was all smiles!!  We are definitely going to be needing a swing set in Texas.  She had so much fun!

She is still a little small for the baby swings so we had to stuff a blanket around her so she'd sit in it nice and safe

Rolling over.... FINALLY!

Lorelai was taking her sweet time learning to roll over.  She was just perfectly content to lay on her back, babble, and play with her feet.  Finally, Grandma taught her!!!  I was able to catch it on video so I'd have proof to show Joe.  Now, she's a rolling machine!!

When you don't have a tub, sometimes you just have to make-do.  Here are some pictures of Lorelai bathing in the sink.  She loved the faucet though!

New England Aquarium

Joe and I wanted to take Lorelai somewhere fun but there aren't many things a 5 month old can do.  We decided to take her to the New England Aquarium so she could look at all the colorful fish.  SHE LOVED IT!  We were there for three hours and she never slept a wink. She just stared and stared at all the fish and penguins and seals.  It was so much fun!

Swimming...

So, Lorelai got changed into her swim suit for the first time and we took her swimming.  The pool was too cold so we opted for the hot tub (DON'T WORRY!  We turned the temp waaaaaaay down to about 90 degrees so it was like bath water).  Anyways, she had a ball with Pop-pop and Uncle Joe in the giant tub!
