Trip to Navarre

 We took an impromptu trip to Navarre, FL to visit Pop Pop and Babci.  It was unseasonably cold but the kids had a great time!

Creek sloshing

Our new land has a creek on it.  Sometimes it's dry but the kids love when the rain fills it up!  We hung out at the creek for an hour on this day.  No toys, no distractions, no FIGHTING!  Lorelai made boats out of sticks and leaves and tried to see how far down the creek she could get them.  Scarlet and Evelyn made "rock families" and towns out of the nature around them.  Joseph threw rocks and made splashes.  It is exactly what we wanted.  

 

Breaking ground

We broke ground on March 11, 2023.  So excited for this journey

Permits filed and equipment dropped off, boxes being checked

Duchess knows no personal space

Evelyn has test anxiety and also struggles with math.  She's come a long way with homeschool and we are so proud of her.
