Wonder Works

 A rainy day at Panama City Beach so we took the kids to Wonder Works.  We practically had the place to ourselves!

The kids want a tunnel like this, leading to their bedroom.  Well, maybe they wouldn't argue about going to bed anymore.

Panama City Beach

Joe had a work trip in Panama City Beach.  Being homeschoolers, we decided to tag along and were able to spend 5 days in a condo on the beach.  The kids played at the beach most of the morning, and rinsed off in the pool in the afternoon!  And in the video you can see how both Scarlet and Joseph are learning to swim.

Just checking out the neighborhood at the new house and we found this epic playground.  It's 2 minutes from our new home and a great little break for these homeschoolers.

 

Workouts with Dad

 Joseph has been working out with Dad every morning.  Joe has to promise to wake him up so he doesn't miss their exercises together.

Composition #7: Write words about the story "A Mouse's Umbrella"

She wrote, "A mushroom is a good umbrella for a little mouse."

Compositon #8: Write about taking a leaf walk

She wrote, "I like to jump in a pile of leaves."

Composition #9: Write about your favorite part of the baseball story

She wrote, "My favorite part was when Buddy ran the bases."

She wrote, "I like to sleep with Sniffer every night."

She wrote, "I love painting.  I use beautiful colors.  It will be a butterfly."

She wrote, "My name is Squiggly.  I eat leaves all day.  I make a cocoon.  I like flying."

She wrote, "I like fireworks.  They are loud.  They are colorful."

She wrote, "The music is loud.  The band can play different instruments.  The hats are big."

Little monkeys

 One of our last days in Durango, CO.  We had a showing for our listed house and we spent that time at their favorite park.  For some reason, their new thing to do is the monkey bars over and over again.  

July wrap-up…

 This has been a tough couple of months for this blog.  Moving, especially, has taken up a lot of my time but I’m trying to get back on track  I haven’t even been taking many pictures but here are July’s extra pics.

Evelyn is into painting lately and she got this great kit for her birthday. She’s been working on it each day!

I love to see what their imaginations come up with!

Legos are a great activity for Evelyn. She now can do them all by herself as long as they are an age appropriate level. It helps her follow directions, and work on being observant.
