 The kids are slowly getting introduced to video games. Much different from my childhood...when asked why Joseph likes to play the female character instead of the muscles up guy he replied... “Because she’s not wearing a shirt!”  Makes sense...

Ski Lessons

Lorelai and Evelyn have started ski lessons!  It’s a 4 week program and they go every Saturday.  They’ve had two lessons so far and have made pretty good progress, especially Lorelai!  Her coach said next week she’s ready to ride the lift to the top of the mountain!

Mastering how to pedal

 Joseph's new Spiderman bike he got for Christmas is the ultimate hit!  He loves it.  Joseph has always loved his little red tricycle but would refuse to learn how to pedal because it was so much faster for him to just use his feet to push him along.  Now, with a new big boy bike, he is forced to learn!  It's snowy and icy outside to the bike hasn't made it outdoors yet but he has now mastered pedaling and steering!

Evelyn's victory dance...

 The kids are tired....maybe too tired.  We tried to wind them down tonight with a nice board game before bed.  Evelyn won...and she proceeded with a victory dance.  I think it's bedtime.

Goodbye Addie...

We are so sad to report that Addie has crossed that rainbow bridge into heaven.  She was a great dog.  My baby before we had babies and I don't know what I would have done without her when Joe was deployed.  She protected our family up until the very end, even when her hearing and vision started to decline.  A family dog through and through, she watched our family grow to become what it is today.  I don't know what we will do without her.  Miss you Addie!

First sledding

 The snow is great and it's time to introduce the kids to some LEGIT sledding!  We had such a great time!  I need to get more sleds though!  We got there early and had the entire hill to ourselves. There was a jump at the bottom of the hill that someone had made.  I told the kids to avoid it, but one time when Joseph went down by himself he was launched over the jump!  Complete airborne!  He was fine though.  I didn't get that one on video.  I guess they are plenty padded with all their snow gear.  There are 7 videos below in the web version

Snowball fights

The snow so far has been pretty light and fluffy, but today it's finally sticky enough for a snowball fight.  The kids learned quickly not to mess with their Auntie...

Lorelai quickly learned that she wasn't going to beat Auntie...so she asked to be her "apprentice". 

Scarlet wanted NO part of a snowball fight.  She just hid in the trees

Joseph likes to taunt..."Na Na Boo Boo...can't get me"

In the end, Evelyn just got dumped in the snow
