School pictures are finally here. The girls did pretty good. Lorelai insisted I curl her hair and I even let her wear my pearl necklace because she said her dress was too plain and needed some accessories.

We were so busy this Fall season that we didn't get to the pumpkin patch as often as we would like.  We went on their very last day and it was just so much fun!

Our Halloween pumpkins...

This is our annual pumpkin post!  We went all out!

Lorelai was determined to carve her own pumpkin from start to finish this year.  I told her to keep it simple as I was nervous of her using the sharp tools.  She was mature and responsible and her very first jack-o-lantern came out amazing

Halloween

Our Halloween was uncommonly bitterly cold at about 35 degrees!  The kids were amazing.  I layered them up as much as I could. It was difficult with Lorelai and Scarlet's costume but we did the best we could.  Joseph understood the concept pretty quickly and ran from house to house behind his sisters collecting candy.  We did about half the neighborhood and then took Evelyn, Scarlet, and Joseph back to the house and they were done along with Papa Joe and Maddie who watched them.  Lorelai, the determined little perfectionist she is, wanted to go back out and complete every house.  SO WE DID!

Mom and Dad got into the spirit too.  With the kids being fairies and dragons, Joe is a knight (a dark knight) and I am an evil sorceress.  I am missing my minion demon dog, Bruno.  It was too cold to take him out...
