Little Artist...

Every time the girls do a little artwork, I love to hear them describe every detail of it in their own words.  Evelyn is so proud of this drawing and wants me to know all about it...

Trying to keep up...

Joseph is just trying to keep up with his crazy sisters.  Where do they get the energy?  And when does school start?!  Summer vacation is tiring this Momma out!

Little swimmer...

Lorelai and Evelyn are enrolled in swim lessons for the summer.  Lorelai has really taken off and is learning quite a bit!  Evelyn is still battling her fear of water touching her face but we are progressing.  Look at Lorelai go!  This video was taken during her third lesson!

Kentucky Down Under with friends...

Friends are in town so we had to do some fun activities.  We took them to Kentucky Down Under and had a great time with the Kangaroos!  It was sweltering hot out but we still had a great time...

It was over 95 degrees out.  So hot!  So why not strap a hot little baby to you?  Who's idea was this?  There was some relief when we toured the cave they have on site that stays 60 degrees year round.

Fire pits and waterslides!

Yes, we rented the giant waterslide for Evelyn's party which was on a Saturday.  The best part is, they didn't pick it up until Sunday at 4pm!  This means tons of waterslide fun and capping everything off with some marshmallows and a campfire!  Even I couldn't resist the water slide and went down several times.  It was awesome! Great day!

Ten Months old!

Ten Months old!  I can't believe how big he's looking now!  Joseph turned 10 months old on July 14, 2018.  Only two more months and we will be entering toddler-ville.  It's right around the corner!

New fire pit...

We spent one of our weekends building a fire pit in our backyard.  I've always wanted one and s'mores are my favorite so I couldn't wait to try it out with all the kids.  It was a team effort, leveling rock, spreading mulch, building the fire pit...it came out great!  Very happy with it!

Daddy also built something to hold all of our kindling.  We were very impressed with his fire-making skills.  He gets an A+ on his "man card".

Always the perfectionist (no idea where she gets that from) she has to make her marshmallow perfectly golden brown, no burnt parts at all

Scarlet, on the other hand, just keeps catching hers on fire!

Evelyn's 5th Birthday!

Evelyn is now five years old!!  And another successful birthday party under our belts!  She wanted a Tigger themed party so that's what we did...
