Scarlet loves Joseph...

Scarlet really loves the new baby.  Every time she enters a room, she's always looking for him.  I think she'll be a great big sister!

She has to let me know every time he cries

The girls meet their little brother...

This baby boy is going to have three extra doting mommies with his big sisters.  They were all so excited to meet him.  Scarlet didn't want to STOP holding him.  She yelled whenever someone tried to take him away!

I'm so relieved with how Scarlet is responding to the new baby.  She loves to dote on him.  I really honestly think that she thinks he's HER baby...

He is here!

Introducing.... Joseph Michael Dai IV!  This pregnancy has been so different than the others.  Baby Joseph was my only baby to come past his due date.  I guess he just wasn't ready to leave his Momma.  He came on his own though, just like his sisters.  Three days past my due date... I was just getting up to get the girls ready for school when my water broke and labor started pretty shortly after that.  Lorelai begged not to miss Kindergarten and I was doing ok so I waited a little before going into the hospital so we could drop her off on the way.  The things a mother does for her kids.  Big mistake!  Once the contractions started they were fast and furious.  We pretty much kicked Lorelai out of the car (she was happy because she got to go to school).  By the time we arrived at the hospital I was making quite the scene.  I was 7cm dilated and changing quickly.  Four or five nurses descended on us immediately, trying to get IVs in, baby on the monitor, etc before he came.  Due to their quick work, I was able to get comfortable with an epidural quickly.  So my actual delivery was nice and relaxed.  I was ready to start pushing by about 10am, my doctor was finishing up a c-section on another patient and I was comfortable so we waited a little before getting started.  Joe took a nap, I snoozed, and then we were all ready for him to come.  Only two short pushes...

Joseph Michael Dai IV was born September 14, 2017 at 12:02pm.  He was 8lb 6oz, 19.5 inches long

My second largest baby.  Lorelai was 7lb 12oz, Evelyn was 8lb 12oz, Scarlet was 7lb 9oz

Creepy Belly....take 2!

This little munchkin is running out of room and I think he wants out!  Just a few days until my due date and this Momma is just not ready to evict yet....

This video is a little longer and he moves the most towards the end...  It's crazy for me to experience this because he moves more than all the girls combined.  Every night he's like this!!!  His movements are definitely getting uncomfortable for me but I'm going to miss them when they're gone...

Newport Aquarium

Right outside of Cincinnati is the Newport Aquarium so we went to check out the aquatic life.  We don't have an aquarium in Kentucky so the girls were very interested in seeing some sharks and fish.

Dancing with some street performers outside, waiting to go in

pictures with a humpback whale

The sharks were a big favorite

Cincinnati Zoo...

Last minute trip to Cincinnati for the weekend.  Our last little family getaway before the new baby comes.  The girls loved the zoo!

The zoo had posters of all different kinds of animals all over the zoo.  The girls loved having their pictures taken with them
