Hair cuts...

It was time for a hair cut for Lorelai and Evelyn.  This is Evelyn's first ever cut... and Lorelai's second.  Their hair is much healthier.  Less snarls when they get out of the shower or up in the morning.  I didn't have them cut too much off, just a trim.  Daddy likes long hair on his girls...

Cul de sacs are awesome!

I love our safe street where the girls can play and I don't have to worry.  We take advantage almost every day.  My kids would always rather be outside!

Super Mom!

Flying home from Idaho, 26 weeks pregnant, three kids, by myself..... and without incident!  Yup, feeling like Super Mom right about now!

Big girl sitting across the aisle from me so I can attend to her two younger sisters.  She talked her neighbor's ear off...

THANK GOODNESS!

Three hour time change and children do NOT mix!  The kids took a few days to recover and they were all kinds of screwed up.  We are back on track and back on our normal schedule

Coeur d'Alene...last night

Last day for me and the girls in Idaho.  One of Joe's colleagues took us out on his boat to go wake surfing and tubing.... this pregnant Momma sat out but it was a lot of fun.  The girls LOVED riding up front in the boat.  When the girls went tubing I may have had a slight heart attack when Evelyn failed to hold on and a wave bounced her right off and into the water.  After that she said, "I like the boat........ I don't like the tube."

So, with wake surfing, your feet aren't attached to the board.  You use a rope, tied to the boat to help you up and you use the wake from the boat to surf.  When you're comfortable you let go of the rope and ride the wave!  Joe did awesome!

Scarlet is watching safely with Momma...  She really enjoyed watching her Daddy surf.  Every time he fell in the water she had fun looking all over for him

Yes, I am nervous with this.  They promised to go slow...

Well, Evelyn still managed to do a back flip off the tube and into the water.

Coeur d'Alene park fun...

Joe had to stay in Idaho the entire week for work but me and the girls were just visiting for a few days and tried to make the most of what little time we had.  On the first day Joe had to work I took the girls to some local parks and playgrounds to play.  They had a great time...

Meal with a view...

She is becoming very daring as she tries to keep up with her sisters

Try as she might, Lorelai had the hardest time with this obstacle.  All the ropes swung and moved around and she kept getting all tangled up trying to make it across...

Evelyn wants to drive the boat...  It's Scarlet's turn.  Her face says it all...

Big sisters wanted to join Scarlet on the baby swings

My little explorer

working on balance

In our condo there was an Idaho children's book called "Mudgie and Millie" and it was about a moose and a mouse playing hide and seek all over Coeur d'Alene.  I read it to the girls earlier in the week.  Well, I didn't realize how famous they were because we found them!

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho...

The Dai Family is taking a short trip to Coeur d'Alene!  Joe has been moonlighting here and we are exploring places we may want to live when he says good-bye to his Army career.  He's been here now on four separate occasions in the last year to work, but this time the company invited out the whole family!  The girls were very excited and I quickly fell in LOVE...  We shall see what the future holds!

The Spokane River was right outside our condo.  Coeur d'Alene is filled with beautiful lakes, rivers, and mountains

Just taking a morning walk outside our condo.  That three hour time difference really messed up the girls' internal clock so we were ready to go pretty early in the day!

Checking out the family of ducks

Day 1...hike #1.  This hike is called "Mineral Ridge" and Coeur d'Alene Lake is in the background

Day 2... hike #2.  This hike was done about 45min North of Coeur d'Alene in Sandpoint.  The company Joe has been working for has a satellite clinic here too.  Two kiddos needed help this time around.  Scarlet passed out most of the way (completely missed the view) and Scarlet begged to be carried.  At the end of the hike Evelyn said, "We did it!!!"  and I was like, "no....no you did not."

Trying to read...

I really try to instill a love of books and reading.  Scarlet loves to mimic everything she sees.  I didn't get the best video because she caught me recording but she was sitting in the doctor's office pretending to read...babbling away...  it was adorable.

Pool time...

Warm weather is here and these girls need some fun in the pool.  No, this isn't our dream pool but it'll have to do for now.  It's big enough for all of them and Momma can sit on the deck and watch them play and splash...

May wrap-up...

Leftover pictures from May...

She found the nail clippers and is cutting her baby's nails.  Scarlet usually has a baby doll nearby...

It is just about impossible to get a great picture of three little kids.  Someone is always not looking, someone is always making a funny face....I try my best!

Copy.....  Paste.....   Tired girls on their way home from the zoo.  Evelyn is in the exact same position, but she is in the row behind these girls...

My little domestic helper...  Always by my side...

Running to her Momma.  This fills my heart with JOY!

Mother's Day with all my babies.... Don't forget baby Joseph (tucked in right behind Scarlet)

Scarlet at the ball field.  I had to take this picture because I am in love with her little pigtails...

Lorelai NEVER naps anymore but she must have been tired today.  I still make her lay down for an hour in the afternoon with her books so she can have some quiet time.  Well, she already had her "nap" time and was up playing and decided to snuggle in close to Momma (who was trying to sneak in a nap herself)

Yup....  this is Evelyn.  Her personality to a "T".  She loves to make people laugh...

Please disregard the Yankees jerseys.  I did not choose her team!!

This little one gives the best hugs!  The other two girls definitely weren't this snuggly at this age.

I took this picture because Scarlet just HAS TO sleep with her cabbage patch baby doll (which is actually Evelyn's) and her new Minnie Mouse phone.  She doesn't even play with the phone during nap...just likes to snuggle it.
