This tired Momma was trying to rest her eyes for just a bit.  Impossible to do when two little ones want to cuddle with you.  At least Evelyn is trying to read to Scarlet.

We recently went to a friend's birthday party.  Enjoying cupcakes!

I love to observe Lorelai's imagination.  It is so entertaining and ever changing.  She has her dinosaurs tied up so they can't get away.  If you ask her why, she'll give you an entire story complete with names and plot twists I'm sure.

Addie loves to be near the kids.  It doesn't matter if they're crawling on her or being loud or anything...she is always nearby.  Love this dog...

Watermelon!

These girls LOVE watermelon...especially Evelyn and Scarlet.  I think Scarlet really enjoys the feeling on her teething gums.  It's a perfect summer snack!

I am exhausted from this crazy week but it was a wonderful vacation!  The hardest part of being a military family is constantly moving around and being far from home.  I try to get in family time every chance I get.  Such fun memories made this week!

Vacation...Air Force museum

Daddy, the girls, and I took a break from swimming to visit the Armament Air Force Museum.  The big planes were the favorite of the day!

We were on a mission to find an F-15.  The plane that Pop Pop worked on!

Vacation...pool days

The beach water was a little cold so we took Scarlet to the pool for her first swimming experience.  She was unsure about everything at first...but by the end she couldn't stop splashing!  She was kicking, and squirming nonstop. I will definitely get a good nap out of her today!

Vacation...Beach day in Navarre

We are taking a road trip down to Navarre, Florida for the week.  There, we will be meeting up with Pop Pop, Babci, Auntie, Uncle Stevie, and Uncle Joe.  I can't wait to get in the family time and the girls are excited about the beach!  It's a 9+ hour drive with frequent stops for the kids but they all did pretty well.

Uncle Stevie and Lorelai.  It's been about 2.5 years since these two have seen each other.  So great to catch up!
