SNOW!

First time for Lorelai and Evelyn to play in the snow!  Both of them really didn't know what to make of it.  Lorelai was concerned when the snow got in her hair...she wanted to know how to get it out!  I had to explain to her that the snow would just melt.  Evelyn didn't last long outside.  She didn't appreciate the cold and she had a hard time walking in the snow.

Champion of preschool boardgames

I am getting my butt kicked.  Lorelai got a lot of board games for Christmas and her Birthday and usually when Evelyn is napping I'll play a game or two with her.  ....and she's winning....a lot!

Mom, I'm not tired!

I've been really lucky in that all of my girls have been really good sleepers... however, Scarlet is the Queen of sleep.  She's been sleeping through the night for a couple weeks now and she naps several times throughout the day.  Lorelai has started to have difficulty falling asleep at night so we've been letting her skip nap when she's in a good mood.  Sometimes she's a little cranky and needs a nap still and then I usually hear, "But MOM!  I'm not tired!"

Sweet Scarlet

Everyone loves this little baby so much.  She is so good!  She's sleeping well, hardly fusses, and is as cute as a button!  She is still young so she doesn't do much, but she manages to capture our hearts everyday.

We took the girls bowling....Scarlet slept the entire time but Evelyn and Lorelai had a blast.  The pictures aren't so great but you can see the excitement on the girls' faces!  Evelyn lost interest towards the end...she just wanted to play with the ball return.

First Smile!

Scarlet loves her Daddy...this is obvious.  This baby LIGHTS UP when she sees him and on December 29th she gave him her very first smile.  She smiles more at her Daddy than anyone else!

What a performance!  Evelyn is loving her new Frozen microphone.  It hooks up to any MP3 player so you can sing along.

ALREADY?????!!!!!

I wouldn't believe it either if I hadn't caught it on video.  On December 27th (not even 6wks old yet) I placed Scarlet on her belly for some tummy time.  She was content so I busied myself doing laundry etc.  When I checked on her a couple minutes later....she was on her back.  Did she just roll over?? Maybe I didn't put her all the way on her belly and I had placed her more on her side.  Maybe one of the kids touched her...or Joe?  I was shocked because Lorelai refused to roll over until she was almost 6 months old!  This is all happening so fast!  Well, Scarlet did it five more times throughout the day!  I caught the last one on video.  She's a little fussy in the video because she was starting to get tired and I kept putting her on her belly because I wanted Joe to see her roll over too.  I think she had had enough at this point!

Scarlet is alert

Scarlet is getting more and more alert.  She is a very content baby and loves to sit and watch the chaos that goes on around her in this house.  I love this little baby...
