Meeting Mickey Mouse! This meet and greet was pretty cool because his character can talk. The girls were pretty amazed!
Disney's 7 Dwarfs Mine Train ride just opened last year. We didn't ride it because the girls were too small. I was getting nervous that Lorelai wouldn't be able to ride this year either. Disney is very strict on their height requirements. We've been telling her for months to "eat your vegetables so you can grow big and ride the Snow White ride!" I really didn't want her to be disappointed. Just a couple weeks before we left she was measured by the doctor and was 37.5" with bare feet. You need to be 38" to ride. She was so close....they measured her for a good minute or two making sure she was flat footed, looking straight ahead, etc. Very strict. But she made it!!! AND LOVED IT!! Awesome pictures and we got a video too!

The rain has slowed and we are getting ready for the Electrical Parade!
I didn't think Evelyn would be big enough to ride but she I was wrong. Lorelai, of course, is behind the wheel. Mom will sit this one out.

Riding the Jungle Cruise! One of Lorelai's favorites. She kept asking to ride it. Sometimes we'd be on the other side of the park and she'd ask, "Can we ride the Jungle Cruise now?" Rode this ride quite a few times... I enjoy this ride but the corny jokes could use some variety

We stayed at a much more less expensive hotel this time around because we wanted our trip to be longer. Part of that comes with having to catch the bus to our hotel instead of being able to walk like last year. I try to keep the kids awake until we reach the hotel so they'll nap good in their beds instead of getting a "second wind" and being cranky. We had the bright idea...put Evelyn on your shoulders...that'll keep her awake. Ummmm, not so much. She is running on empty...
Ok, Evelyn....you've won this battle. There was absolutely no keeping her awake. Back to the hotel for naptime...
After the morning at Magic Kingdom it was back to the hotel for naptime. We had dinner reservations at Epcot at the Akershus in Norway for a meal with several princesses!
The dinner started with a parade around the diningroom with the princesses. Evelyn got to hold Aurora's hand.

The girls loved seeing the princesses. This year, Evelyn actually knew who so many of them were and was in awe to see them. Big hugs for Cinderella!
Snow White was hilarious. She talked in a super high voice that sounded just like her character from the movie. I couldn't stop laughing. Spot on!
Ariel is the girls' favorite. Evelyn always tries to sing like her saying, "Ahhhhhhhhh!"
It's clear she's their favorite from the hugs they give.
