Weekend in Abilene...part 2

Evelyn has her first BOYFRIEND!!!!!!!  Her and Mason got close fast and every time we turned around they were kissing!!  We are in for some trouble I think!

Weekend in Abilene...part 1

Daddy had to go away on business to San Francisco for several days so I packed up the girls and we drove 4 hours to Abilene to visit my best friend, her husband, and their two little ones.  You've probably seen me post about this family before.  Madelaine is just 3 months younger than Lorelai, and they have a boy, Mason, who just turned 1.  It was a great weekend and so much fun!  Plus, Mommy needed the girl time...

Easter Bunny!

We dressed the girls up and took them to the Easter Bunny.  Loved the pictures.  And we let them play at the Tot Lot in the mall afterwards.

Sea World with Auntie!

Took the girls to Sea World.  We haven't been in a while.  The girls were so well behaved and really enjoyed the animal shows.  It was a long day.  The girls stayed up until 3pm  before finally starting to poop out.  They were practically passed out before we left the parking lot.  Beautiful day!

"Pets Ahoy" is my favorite show in the park.  The animals are so talented...dogs, cats, geese, rats, birds, and even a skunk.  The girls loved it.

This video is of Lorelai dancing to the music outside of "Pets Ahoy" waiting to be let in.  She dances so awkwardly but it cracks me up!

Auntie had the bright of idea to get Lorelai "a little wet" from the Atlantis boat ride... After a couple of tries of barely getting misted with water, she got a little more than she bargained for....

Both Auntie and Lorelai were soaked and we totally fed this machine $5 to dry them off....

In the Conservation Building of course their are snakes (Lorelai's favorite).  She walked right up to the lady and said, "Can I please pet your snake?"  I didn't even tell her to say that.  Such a good girl....and NO FEAR!

Swim classes

I am excited to say that Lorelai has started swim classes!!  She is beyond excited.  She has been asking and asking me to go to school (still too young).  I think she just wants to ride a yellow school bus... so we started calling her classes "swim school".  She is so proud of herself.  Her biggest hurdle is going under the water but she is improving with each class.  These pictures aren't so great because the pool room is dark....

First of all...this tutu and fairy wings belong to Evelyn.  Evelyn loves them, but Lorelai is obsessed with them.  She wears them all the time.  So cute...
