Here's a nice little photo-bomb.  I had some random pictures lying around.  ENJOY!

Lorelai wanted to wear her hair like Mommy.  So I put the tiniest bun in her hair.  That, paired with the sunglasses, she is definitely looking like a little sassy lady.

 

What do you do with left over party balloons?  Well, Lorelai insisted taking them on our nightly family walk.  The neighbors were looking at us a little odd.  One mentioned that we just needed "a bird on our shoulder to finish that Disney family appearance!"  Hahaha

Evelyn loves to run around on our sectional couch.  She runs all around and throws herself down on the cushions, then laughs and laughs.  You  have to watch her closely or she will just throw herself right off the couch!

Evelyn has been busy enjoying some of her birthday presents.  She got this wooden cookie set as a gift and the girls have been playing with it nonstop.  (Lorelai is also enjoying all of Evelyn's presents).

Twinkle, Twinkle...

Lorelai makes me sing to her every night before bed and also before her naps.  She really likes me to sing "twinkle, twinkle, little star".  I think it's because she knows all the words.  On this day, I caught her singing to her toys as she put them away and saying, "Goodnight, I'll see you in the morning."  Too cute...

We love to take family walks in the evening.  Lorelai has really gotten into wanting to walk the dog.  She has even started walking her around the house.  She'll say, "come on, Addie... let's go for a walk."  She, however, gets frustrated when the dog no longer wants to walk...

Evelyn's Party

We had a party for Evelyn the day before her birthday on Sunday.  It was a quiet little BBQ and we invited some friends and a couple babies.  Evelyn loved her cake!!  She was much messier than Lorelai was.  Both my girls definitely have a sweet tooth.

I am so proud of the cake I made for Evelyn.  I made the last two for Lorelai but I always had the watchful eye of my talented Mom at my disposal.  This is the first cake I did all by myself!!  I made her a little bluebird because we call Evelyn our little bird.

Evelyn is 1 year old!!

My baby is not so much a baby anymore.  One year ago today she entered the world (fast and furiously) at 11:10am, weighing 8lb 12oz and measuring 20 inches long.  I can't believe a year has gone by.  I miss my snuggly baby. I am in the mood to reminisce.  Below are some of the very first pictures of little Evelyn.
