Growing up together

I love to watch the dog play with the girls.  It's amazing how she knows just how rough she can be with them. As Lorelai gets older and bigger, Addie can be a little more rambunctious.  At the same time, she is so gentle with Evelyn.  I love to watch them grow together.

Peek-a-boo

Evelyn loves her bear.  It plays peek-a-boo with her and makes her smile and laugh every time.  Thanks Grandma!

Play mates

As Evelyn is growing, it is getting easier and easier for her to play with her big sister.  Evelyn adores Lorelai.  She watches everything her big sister does in awe.  Lorelai also enjoys playing with her.  She likes to show Evelyn things.  I love that we had our girls so close together.  I know there will be times when they fight like cats and dogs, but, from my experience with my older sister, I also know they will be the best of friends.  Here are some pictures of them playing together...

Evelyn is turning into a little trouble maker.  She is really starting to get into things and she is stealthy and quiet as she does it.

Valentine's Day!

We hope you were all able to spend Valentine's Day with your loved ones!  We had a beautiful day here.  It was 74 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.  Here are some pictures from our day...

I know some of you are braving the snow and cold weather... but we had a rather sunny, warm day here.  We took some time to enjoy our backyard.

She is getting so close to crawling in this video!  She actually finally, officially started crawling on January 30th.  I think her attempts to crawl are very cute though.

Hop Hop Hop!

Sorry, I am a little behind in posting.  Both myself and the two girls were sick all last week so nothing got done around the house...

When this video was taken, Evelyn was not quite crawling (but rather, hopping). 

Evelyn's Baptism

Most of you know that Evelyn was baptized on February 1st.  I apologize for not sending out invitations.  We figured that no one would be able to come anyways.  Joe is very busy with residency and the church here only offers baptisms once a month.  We also weren't sure when we'd be able to get home again.  I didn't want to put it off too long and then, before you know it, she's 2 and still hasn't been baptized.  It was a small, quiet ceremony.  Evelyn looked gorgeous in her dress.  I did send out baptism announcements to everyone so you should be getting those soon.  Enjoy the pictures!

Rugged Daddy

These pictures are a little old but I still had to share.  Daddy came home on January 17th from Dallas and while he was away, he grew a beard.  (Personally, I like it).  He had to go back to work the following Monday, so he had to shave... but I love these pictures.
