Happy Halloween!

It's Halloween!  I love this holiday.  Unfortunately our entire house is recovering from a fever.  First Lorelai had it, then Evelyn and I, and Daddy had it last night.  Thankfully it's a quick virus.  I am hoping to still go trick-or-treating tonight.  We will see what Lorelai makes of it!  It's been storming really bad here so I am praying that the weather is good.  Here are some Halloween Pictures....

Lorelai is making this face because every time she lifts something heavy she has to grunt and say "ugh!  ugh! ugh!"

Halloween photo shoot

Trying to get a toddler, a dog, and a baby to sit still for a picture is nearly impossible.  We had a little photo shoot so that I could make some Halloween cards to send out.  Here are some of the pictures...

Waiting for Daddy...

Lorelai and Addie wait for Daddy to come home everyday.  When she sees his jeep pull up, she runs as fast as she can to the door!

Evelyn is the Dog's baby...

Addie is very protective over her babies.  She is weary of strangers and likes to be close to them.  She is also very tolerant of them... the crying, the grabbing, the pulling of the tail and ears, (Lorelai has even been known to stand on the poor dog's head).  I put Evelyn on the floor on her activity mat and Addie really wanted to lay next to her.  At the end of the video she even tries to snuggle Evelyn but kind of squishes her face (which leads to crying).  Don't worry, Addie got off right away but it's when I had to stop the video.  She responded to the crying and placed her head down next to the baby again.

Knows her animals...

Lorelai is a great animal lover.  Anything that is animals, she wants to play with.  She is really getting to know them... which is which and the sounds they make.  My favorite is the face she makes when she points out a mouse and squeaks.

Many of you have commented that most of the pictures of Evelyn are of her sleeping...  Well, it's true.  She's my little, mellow, sleepy baby... and I just don't care!  I always thought Lorelai was an easy baby and I was one lucky Momma.... but Evelyn is so easy going.  She is content, cuddly, and just loves to sleep!  I am okay with this.  It gives me a chance to run after Lorelai!

Many of you have already seen this video but I hadn't posted it yet.  I love to watch Lorelai and Addie play together.

Just hanging around

Lorelai is hanging out with her BFF, Madelaine.  She is hanging on Daddy's gym.  She can actually hang for quite a while all on her own.  Impressive!  When Daddy is working out in the garage she likes to lift the 2.5lb and 5lb weights, copying what he does, grunting the whole time.  Hilarious
