Lorelai loves to read books. We read stories before bed every night. It's gotten so that she wants to bring her favorite books with her when we leave the house so she can read in the car. I recently started a gym membership that has free childcare. Often, when I check on her during my workout, she can be seen in the daycare's library reading the books. This is a habit I am OK with reinforcing!

Lorelai got a pair of light up sunglasses from Aunt Becca. She loves to wear glasses and Mommy is glad that she has her own pair now (so that she doesn't break another pair of Mommy's).
Just a cute picture of Lorelai all ready for bed. She was watching a little TV with a blanket and teddy bear. She loves to drag stuffed animals everywhere and her favorites change all the time
But when it's time for bed, she likes to have them ALL with her...
Evelyn is becoming mobile much faster than Lorelai did. She scoots all around on her play mats. She's going to be crawling around this house before long!
She started out in the center of the mat. 15 minutes later and she's on the edge!
Lorelai really wants to play with Evelyn but her little sister is still too small to get up and run around with her. For now, she plays with her other best friend... her dog, Addie! Addie is so good with her and is gentle (for the most part). She can be a little clumsy at times. Enjoy the video of them running around the house!
We were on our way to Corpus... about an hour into our trip when we got a call saying that our friend's little girl was very sick. I didn't want to expose Evelyn so we turned around and headed home. We will go another time. So instead we went to a favorite hotspot of ours.... the Zoo! The up side is my new double stroller came in the mail. It was expensive but we figured that since we plan on having more children, it will be put to good use. We were able to test it out at the zoo.
Even Evelyn fits int he new stroller. I love my new BOB jogging stroller!

My two girls!
Daddy took Lorelai into the "Lory Landing". You can feed the Lory Birds. Lorelai was a little unsure at first but she liked the brightly colored birds
Here's a video of Lorelai attempting to feed the Lory birds...
